A fuel dispenser which encourages the purchase of more fuel-efficient car, the concept may seem surprising. Yet this is apparently preparing to make a total grant program to purchase eco-friendly car.

According to an article website Challenges.fr the operation should begin in the fall and cover the fleet managers of companies that are committed to improving environmental performance of their fleet. In 2011, the principle would be extended to individuals who receive assistance from the French oil when buying a car with low CO2 emissions.

Total Offer seems motivated by Article 27 of Act II Grenelle, voted last July and will enter into force on 1 January. This regulation requires distributors of fuel previously spared by the Grenelle I, to encourage energy conservation among consumers no fax payday advances.According Challenges.fr, they may have to pay 1.8 billion euros over three years if they do not meet this new provision. A grant program launched by the company could thus enable it to comply with the regulations and to recover the famous energy saving certificates (EEC)

At Total, we said that projects for corporate fleets or rental of vehicles have been submitted to the authorities but that no decision should be taken before the end of the year. As for how the grant or extension to individuals, they are "not yet accomplished."

"The discussions continue. We did not set a deadline but I think they should arrive soon. " Stéphane Richard, CEO of France Telecom, took the MEDEF Summer University to announce that discussions with Canal + on the fusion of TV Orange Cinema Series, GST should be finalized in the coming weeks.

"I do not think there is any topics of particular importance as to justify a very long time," said Richard Stéphane. His comments echo those of Bertrand Meheut, CEO of Canal +, who said to reporters Wednesday he hoped the discussions lead by the end of the month.

Partnership

Asked about the organization of the new entitée Stephane Richard told a preferred partnership with Canal +, with participation up to 50% but not beyond."The correct position for us is to be in a partnership relationship. This partnership can be industrial, it may be capital but it is not intended to be dominant. Our strategy is not to be a group of television medium term ".

The boss of France Telecom the opportunity to discuss the ongoing negotiations on a partnership with the Moroccan operator Meditel. "These negotiations are proceeding well. Be contacted in due course on it but they should lead again in short time, "said Stéphane Richard adding that this should be done in" a few weeks. "

Fighting against the tax

Stéphane Richard has also positioned on the future of the VAT increase that the government wants to set up on offers of "triple play (Internet, television and fixed telephony)."On this point, about the economy than one sector, for my part I'll do everything to try to convince the government not take this decision," said Stéphane Richard.

"It may be shortened a little provocative, but do we want France to be the country where you reduce the VAT on the bar and where it is increased on the Internet?" Was he asked. "I think there is a way to return a little 'Basque beret, baguette under his arm, which troubles me a lot," he added. "This is not a good sign for the economy."

The leaders of the U.S. biotechnology group Genzyme had said they would not sell below $ 80 per share. Sanofi-Aventis announced Sunday it has nevertheless proposed a takeover offer for about $ 18.5 billion, or $ 69 per share, confirming persistent rumors since last July. This represents a premium of 38% over the closing price of 49.86 dollars per share of Genzyme July 1, just before it is affected by acquisition rumors, Sanofi said in a statement. The transaction would be solely in cash.

The French pharmaceutical group had remained silent since the leaks in the press last month about his interest in American business. The CEO of Sanofi-Aventis, Chris Viehbacher, confirmed to Le Figaro that the group would continue its acquisition policy.

A world leader in the development

The main shareholder of Sanofi-Aventis, L'Oréal and Total, is shown also booked on the takeover, fearing that the French pharmaceutical group pays its target too cher.Le board of the group had warned that he does not go beyond $ 70 per share. Analysts estimated the amount of money available for redemption at about 20 billion euros.

In a statement, Sanofi-Aventis said that "bringing the two companies would create a global leader in the development and availability of new treatments, bringing to each new significant growth opportunities."

Advertising on Mediapart, illegal recordings of Liliane Bettencourt and its asset manager, Patrice de Maistre, have not finished splashing the heir to L'Oreal. Besides the suspicion of interventions Labour Minister Eric Woerth for Liliane Bettencourt, the records reveal the existence of two bank accounts based in Switzerland, which houses are owned by Liliane Bettencourt, amounting to nearly 80 million.

"I'm leaving in Switzerland just now to fix things. He does not let you be caught before Christmas, "says the richest woman in France Patrice de Maistre. The asset manager refers to the agreement on taxes in the summer of 2009 between France and Switzerland that the Swiss authorities should lift banking secrecy in cases of suspected fraud in a French taxpayer. It was originally scheduled to come into force on 1 January 2010.

To protect itself from a tax audit, Patrice de Maistre therefore plans to transfer to an account, funded to the tune of "12 to 13 million euros" in Singapore "in Singapore because they can not ask" . The same for the second account, an amount, this time, 65 million euros. "I'm planning the fact of sending in a country other than Switzerland: Hong Kong, Singapore and Uruguay advance online payday. That way you'll be quiet. [...] Many people now bring money in France, but for you, I do not believe it, "says he.

An island paradise unreported

These two accounts are not the only treasures hidden heir to L'Oreal mentioned by recordings made at the initiative of his butler.Liliane Bettencourt also owns an entire island of Seychelles, informally offered the photographer François-Marie Banier through a foundation. "I also considered the fact that you declare your island to France, then explains Patrice de Maistre. But again, I think that we should not do it because it's too complicated. I fear that the tax takes a thread.

Counsel for Mr Kiejman Liliane Bettencourt, who also filed a complaint for invasion of privacy, theft and perjury, preferred not to comment Friday on the content of such records. "On the one hand, I do not exclude that they have been tampered with. And secondly, I do not wish to comment on records obtained illegally and are therefore of a criminal nature, "today said the AFP Mr Kiejman.

Very bad trading day Wednesday for the title again BP. In London, the stock fell 4.24% to 391.55 pence. On Wall Street, the same day, the stock has tumbled 15% to just 29 plsu dollars.Pour many observers, the cost of the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico is likely to jeopardize the very existence BP. "The action suffers now fears the very future of BP. It is no longer just a noise reduction of the dividend. Now it's survivability in question, "said Jon Najarian, founder of the news website optionMonster.com.

At the London Stock Exchange, the fears were mostly related to the fact that BP would eventually suspend payment of its dividend. "We are resigned to the fact that there may be a suspension of the dividend," said Tony Shepard, an analyst at Charles Stanley, quoted by Reuters.

Last Friday, however, BP has reaffirmed its intention to announce to its shareholders on July 27 the amount of its interim dividend by way of the second quarter. Dividends paid by the group representing some 10.5 billion dollars (8.7 billion euros) per year.

Yet another bad news for the oil group that is not due to his inability to pay, but the fact that the U.S. authorities there are not favorable. "It does me no problem that BP complies with its legal obligations (to its shareholders, Ed), but I want them to know they have a moral and legal obligations here in the Gulf, warned Tuesday Barack Obama.

The U.S. authorities have also sent an ultimatum to compel them to BP by unveiling its plans to 72 hours to stop the leak.

"BP must state its plans for its parallel initiatives ongoing and alternative oil recovery, including establishing a timetable within 72 hours after receipt of this letter," says the letter from the admiral-cons Coastguard James Watson chief operating officer of BP, Doug Suttles, and dated Tuesday.

With the installation of a funnel, BP has accelerated since last week the recovery of oil leaking from the wells to 1,500 meters below the surface of the water for more than seven weeks. But the water continues to move towards the U.S. coast and crude oil continues to flow.

The case Goldman Sachs has taken the weekend of 24 and 25 April, a new political era with the publication by the U.S. Senate emails embarrassing for the bank, accused of having enriched in 2007 by betting on reduction of financial products that the bank had itself sometimes sold to its customers.

Larry Summers, the Obama economic adviser, declined Sunday to comment on the case Goldman Sachs, except to state: "This highlights what is at the heart of the president's vision (in the reform of finance) : the importance of transparency. "

Shocked that unpacking before the opening of public hearings Monday in Congress, Goldman Sachs categorically denies having violated the law.It maintains its role as an intermediary to serve institutional clients with differing views on the trend of the real estate market forced her to speculate for a fall on some securities to cover its risks also taken on other positions.

If they prove nothing of fraudulent e-mails made public Saturday by the Senate show that the bank on Wall Street reveled during the crisis, earn so much money, thanks to its derivatives betting on the fall of subprime housing market, while its own customers – including European banks – in poorer inverse operations.

"We will make a big pile of money!"

In July 2007, David Viniar, chief financial officer of Goldman Sachs, learning that the bank had already won $ 51 million by betting on falling subprime reacted in an email: "It gives an idea of what might happen to those who not a big short position in low fee pay day loans. "

In October 2007, while the housing market plunge, a trader from the bank sent an email to his colleague: "It seems we will make a big pile of money!" The answer: "Yes, we are well positioned … In 2007, the bank led by Lloyd Blankfein has achieved record profits of 11.6 billion dollars that enabled him to pocket a bonus record of $ 67.9 million.During the same period, rival banks, including Morgan Stanley, suffered massive devaluation of their assets.

On Monday, Lloyd Blankfein and six of his colleagues were summoned to explain himself before the Senate subcommittee charged with investigating the financial crisis. Among them, Fabrice Tourre, a French 31 years, accused of fraud by the SEC, the gendarme of the U.S. financial markets. There is theoretically no link between the two surveys. But they are on the same subject: conflicts of interest of Goldman Sachs derivatives markets of mortgages. An email signed by Fabrice Tourre in 2007 shows his pessimism about the products he elaborated: "This market is completely dead and the poor little subprime borrowers will not be long." Fabrice Tourre will even be compared to Frankenstein for creating products that will turn against their owners, by precipitating the collapse of the U.S. housing bubble and the global financial crisis.

It is preceded by George Soros, the famous American billionaire founder of Soros Fund Management, which has won 3.3 billion dollars, and James Simons of Renaissance Technologies, who pocketed $ 2.5 billion. They are respectively the second and third in the standings. They already had good performance with their hedge funds in 2008, like John Paulson, while that of David Tepper had lost 27% this year, like most other hedge funds.

For many of these funds, the year 2009 has not necessarily been a good year. They took fewer risks and have struggled to make gains. In addition, Carl Icahn, sixth in the rankings, do not expect returns as high in 2010. He explained that last year the debt was really undervalued, while today it is fully valued.

The French market for private pools should start rising this year after two years of decline due to economic crisis, said Thursday the Federation of Professionals in the Pool (FPP).

"Despite a very cold winter, the market is rising again and the number of private pools sold in 2010, as turnover is expected to increase by 10% to 15% compared to last year, has said Jacques Braun, director of the PPF, at a press conference. For Mr.Braun "the pool market, linked to the curve of household confidence, is structurally supported by the carrier for leisure culture and the willingness of households to improve their real estate."

Doubling in 10 years

The market downturn, thanks to a sunny summer of 2009, took place in the third quarter of last year (plus 7% sales pools) before leaving in the fourth quarter (plus 38%) after starting very dull year (26.5% less in the first quarter, less than 8.5% in the second) No payday advance teletrek. In 2009, turnover has decreased by 10%, however, to one billion euros, against 1.1 billion in 2008 and 1.4 billion in 2007.

The number of private swimming pools more than doubled in 10 years, from 708,000 in 2000 to 1,465,840 in late 2009 (including 559,000 above ground) at the point of making France the second largest market behind the United States. Aware of the challenges of sustainable development, the PPF is currently developing a software that can calculate carbon dioxide equivalents (CO2) from the operation of pools, depending on different parameters of size or equipment. Thus the operation of a pool of eight yards on four represents an average of 200 kilos of CO2 per year, or no more than a round-trip Paris-Lyon by car, according to calculations by the PPF.

Sanofi-Aventis could make a slam. According to information from La Tribune, the French Commission of transparency would render an opinion "poor" on the Multaq, a drug for heart problems. For a close case, "the Multaq nothing new on the market," reports the Economic Daily.

So the reimbursement by Social Security for this treatment is only 35%. And the product, which received the worst rating in terms of "improving the medical service rendered" and should be sold cheaper than similar treatments. Poor reward for fifteen years of research on this product.

Sanofi declined to comment, according to the newspaper, which said that the Commission's opinion is only "advisory" from the Economic Health Products, under the Ministry of Health. It is this body that negotiates with the laboratory conditions with the Social Security reimbursements.

Sanofi is one billion euros per year

However, Sanofi is quite a setback. Largely symbolic. For the pharmaceutical group is criticizing France. The Multaq had already been judged as not providing cost-effective.

If he agrees that France is not a huge market for the group to 29 billion euros of revenue, reputation could take a hit.

Counter the loss of patent

The French giant has bet big on this treatment, while many patents will soon expire.Natixis analysts have estimated that the contribution to turnover in the long term would be "significant": Courtesy of European marketing, which allows the group to receive an exclusive ten years, and that obtained United States (exclusive of five years), Sanofi-Aventis is expected to garner about one billion euros per year on average until 2019 with this future blockbuster.

Specifically, in 2019, the "turnover of 800 million euros in 2019 globally for the product, after peaking at 1.45 billion in 2015, before falling U.S. sales from 2016, then their disappearance, "say the strategists, calling the Multaq" relay major growth. "

For them, Multaq is "one of the four pillars to an increase in earnings per share by 2014, with Vacina, Lantus, and emerging countries, where the group leader.
