Posted by adminWith a return to growth – expected to reach 2% in 2011, according to government projections – Bercy intends to reduce the budget deficit. Given the relatively good news on the front of the tax revenue, he now works around an assumption of a deficit of 96 billion for 2011 against 152 billion set in 2010. This figure is still undergoing final revisions in the coming days. As for the government deficit (state, Safely, local), it is supposed, according to the Paris commitments to the European Commission back to 6% of GDP.
To avoid an overall increase in taxes, the government continues to list the niches that are planed or suppressed – 10 billion must be found – in the draft budget law for 2011 to be presented Sept. 29. The ultimate trade-offs have yet been made by the Elysee.
